Our place is located at 55/1, just near the Umiya Industrial Estate along Bhandara Road in Kapsi Khurd. If you walk by, you’ll definitely smell the spices before you see the gate. It’s a strong scent that sticks to your clothes by the end of the day, but you get used to it after a week or two. The area is mostly industrial, so there are always trucks pulling in and out, making it a bit dusty and loud. We spend our time managing the spice production and making sure the machines are running like they should. It’s a lot of manual work and checking bags. The sun gets really hot on this side of town, especially in the summer months when the metal roof heats up. We have a small crew and most of us have been here long enough to know the quirks of the building. We don't have a big fancy lobby or anything like that. It’s mostly just the production floor and some basic office space where we handle the billing and phone calls. Usually, someone brings in snacks to share during the afternoon slump. We’re just a regular group of people working with food ingredients in a busy part of the industrial zone. It’s a lot of repetitive tasks, grinding and packing, but it keeps us busy. We don’t really do much besides focus on the day’s orders. It's a long day but the work is steady and familiar to us.
