Soham Food

Soham Food is based at Plot No:1, Survey No:214 in Basburdi. We are right near the Zopadi Canteen, which makes it easy for people to find us in this industrial patch. Our days are filled with the sounds of grinders and the rustle of large plastic bags. It’s an area that’s always a bit dusty, and we spend a good portion of our time just sweeping up. We don’t have any expensive signs or a fancy front entrance. It’s just a wide gate and a large open space where we do all the processing. The workers here are local people who just want to get through their shift and do a good job. We don’t have any corporate meetings or anything like that. We just talk about what needs to be packed for the day while we have our morning tea. Sometimes the machinery acts up and we have to wait for the repairman to come from the city. It’s a bit of a quiet area compared to the main road, but the canteen nearby keeps things lively with people coming and going. We handle everything ourselves, from the raw materials to the final bags. It’s heavy work and our hands are usually rough from the labor. We’ve been in Basburdi for a while now and we’re just another part of the local scenery here.
