Shizen Saloon

Our saloon is located on Umred Road in the Taj Bagh area of Nagpur. We are on a plot of land that is very close to Bada Taj Bagh, which is a major landmark around here. It’s a busy area with a lot of people passing by on their way to the shrine or just commuting. The shop itself is a simple structure where we handle haircuts and shaves for the local community. We have the basic barber chairs that have been around for a long time. The floor is usually covered in a bit of hair because we are constantly working, but we sweep it up whenever there is a break. It’s not a high-end luxury place; it’s a neighborhood saloon for regular people. We have a few mirrors and a shelf for our razors, combs, and creams. The air inside is usually a mix of shaving cream and hair tonic. We open early in the morning because a lot of men like to get a shave before they head to work. During the day, we might sit outside for a bit if it’s quiet. We know most of the shop owners nearby and we all look out for each other. It’s a very traditional way of running a business. We don't have a big marketing budget, just a sign outside and the hope that we do a good enough job that people tell their friends about us.
