Shankar General And Gift Corner

If you are looking for us, we are right by the water tank at Santaji Chowk in Netaji Nagar. Everyone around here knows the water tank, so it's a pretty easy landmark to find. My name is Shankar and I've been running this general and gift corner for a long time now. The shop is a bit of a mix of everything. On one side, you have your daily essentials like soap, pens, and notebooks for the school kids. On the other side, I keep the gift items like colorful statues, some jewelry boxes, and toys. It’s a neighborhood shop, so I see the same faces almost every day. Sometimes people just stop by to chat for a minute while they buy a packet of biscuits. The shelves are quite high and I have to use a wooden stool to reach the stuff at the top. I try to keep things tidy, but with so many small items, it’s a bit of a struggle. The morning sun hits the front of the shop quite hard, so I usually have the awning down until it gets cooler. It’s a quiet life here in Netaji Nagar. I don't have any big plans to expand or anything like that; I'm happy just serving the people who live nearby. If you need a quick gift for a party or just ran out of something at home, I'm usually here from morning until late evening. Just look for the shop near the big tank.
