Our shop is located on Manewada Road, not too far from Tukdoji Square. It's a busy part of Ayodhya Nagar, so there is always something happening outside. We started this place because we saw a lot of families moving into the area who needed a spot to buy small gifts and things for their homes. Inside, it's quite packed with all sorts of articles. We have photo frames, mugs with different designs, and some of those glass showpieces people like to put on their TV stands. The building is a bit older, but it serves us well. Most of our customers are locals who walk over from the nearby houses. We spend a lot of time just dusting the shelves because the road outside stays busy and kicks up a lot of dirt all day. It’s a simple setup with wooden counters and some stools for when people want to take their time looking at things. During the wedding season, we get a lot of people looking for sets of bowls or fancy clocks to give away to their relatives. It’s a bit of a squeeze when more than four people are inside at once, but we manage. We’re open every day except for some major holidays. You can usually find one of us sitting by the door watching the traffic go by between customers. It’s just a neighborhood emporium, nothing too fancy, just the basics people need for gifting and keeping their houses looking nice.
