Shakti Traders

Our shop is situated in New Itwari, over in the Gandhibagh area. We are very close to the Sai Baba Bakery and the Nehru Putla landmark. It is a very crowded part of the market, so there is always a lot of noise and movement outside our doors. We trade in a variety of goods and the shop is usually packed to the ceiling with boxes. Sometimes it is hard to even find a place to stand when a new shipment arrives. We have been in this same spot for years and know all the other traders nearby. It is a family-run business, so it is just a few of us handling everything from the sales to the accounts. We do not have a big corporate structure or any fancy titles. Most of the time we are just sitting on stools, drinking tea, and waiting for the next customer or delivery truck. The lanes around here are quite narrow, so getting the goods in and out can be a real struggle sometimes. We just do our work and go home. We do not use any big marketing slogans or anything like that. People know us because we have been here so long. The bakery next door always smells like fresh bread, which is nice in the mornings. It is a simple life in a busy market, and we just try to keep things moving along steadily. We enjoy the regular chatter of the market.
