Nimbalakar Sheti Farm

This is Nimbalakar Sheti Farm in Nagpur. We are located near the Geuddi Godam Chowk area. It’s not a restaurant or a shop in the way most people think. It’s a farm. We spend most of our time out in the dirt and the sun. Nagpur is known for being hot, and out here at the farm, you really feel it. We’ve been working this land for years. It’s a lot of manual labor and long hours. We don't have a polished office with air conditioning. If you come to see us, you’ll probably find us in the middle of some work. We grow what we can and we sell it. There isn't much more to it than that. We don't use a lot of fancy technology. We mostly rely on our hands and the tools we’ve had for a long time. Dealing with the weather is the hardest part. Some years the rain doesn't come, other years it’s too much. We just take it as it comes. We aren't corporate people. We don't wear ties or use big words. We just want to produce good stuff from the ground. People from around Nagpur know us and they know how we work. We are just plain folks doing what our fathers did. It’s a tough life, but we don't know any other way to do it. No big speeches here, just the farm and the soil.
