Sayali Beauty Parlour

This is Sayali Beauty Parlour, located here in the 440008 area of Nagpur. It is a small space, nothing like those big chains you see in other parts of the city. I started this place because I wanted something of my own to manage. The shop has the basic things, like the mirrors, a few chairs, and the shelves for the creams and threads. Nagpur weather is tough, so I try to keep the place as cool as possible. The fan is almost always spinning. I spend my days waiting for the local ladies to come by. Most of them live just a few streets away and have been coming for a while. We talk about the local news or the price of vegetables while I do their hair or threading. I do not have a fancy website or anything like that. People just know me and where the shop is located. The floor is just simple stone, and I keep it clean as much as I can. It is hard work standing all day, but it is what I do. Sometimes it is very quiet, especially in the afternoons when it is too hot for anyone to be out. I usually sit near the door then, looking at the street. When it gets busier in the evening, the shop feels a lot more alive. It is an honest little business. I do not try to make it sound like more than it is.
