Sarsaul Organic Producer Company Limited is run out of a spot in Village Patart in Nagpur. If you’re looking for us, we’re located C/O Akhilesh Kumar, who is the son of Bachan. It’s a very local, family-oriented way of doing things, which is exactly how we like it. Being a producer company means we work with a lot of the farmers right here in the village. We aren't some big city firm that doesn't know what a field looks like. We live here and work here every day. Our meetings usually happen in a simple room or even outside if the weather is nice. We started this because the farmers in Patart needed a better way to get their organic goods out to the market without getting squeezed by middle-men. It’s been a struggle sometimes, trying to figure out the logistics and the paperwork, but having the support of the local community makes it worth it. We don't have a website with fancy photos or a PR person. We just have our names and our reputation in the village. If you come by Patart, you’ll see us working on the next harvest or figuring out how to improve the soil naturally. It’s just plain, hard work, and we’re fine with that as long as the crops are good and the families here are doing okay.
