Sarang Kirana

Out here on Narsala Road, Sarang Kirana serves the local neighborhood in Nagpur. It's a straightforward shop where we keep the essentials like grains, pulses, and household items. The morning usually starts with unloading some crates and checking what we need to order from the wholesalers. Nagpur can get really hot during the summer, so we try to get the heavy work done before the sun is too high. Most of our customers are people living nearby who just need a few things for dinner or some tea leaves for the evening. We have bags of rice and flour stacked up, and the smaller items are on the shelves behind the counter. It’s not a large place, but we try to keep it organized enough so we can find things quickly when someone is in a hurry. Sometimes the kids from the street come in for some small snacks after school. We’ve been here for a bit, so we know which brands people prefer to buy. It’s a lot of manual work, carrying sacks and counting change, but that’s how it goes. The road gets busy with traffic at times, making it a bit noisy. We just keep doing our thing, making sure the jars are full and the floor is clean. It’s a quiet life mostly, just running the store and talking to the regulars who stop by for their daily needs. It isn't a fancy supermarket, just a local spot.
