Saoji Spices Pvt. Ltd. is situated at Ganjakhet Chowk, right next to the Amrut Bar & Restaurant. It’s a very busy part of town, so there is always something going on outside our door. We focus on the heavy, spicy blends that people around here really like. Even though the name says "Pvt Ltd," we are just a group of people working out of this spot in the chowk. The air around the shop usually smells like heavy spices, which can be quite a lot if you aren't used to it. We spend our days handling bulk orders and small packets alike. It gets a bit chaotic sometimes when the deliveries arrive and there isn't much room on the sidewalk. We don't have a lot of polished marketing or a big sales team. We just talk to the people who come in and show them what we have ready. The building is older, and sometimes the lights flicker, but we keep the grinders moving regardless. Being near the bar means there is a lot of evening traffic too, so it never really stays quiet for long. We just try to keep up with the demand and make sure our spice mixes are consistent. It is a lot of manual work, lifting heavy sacks and making sure everything is sealed up tight before it goes out.
