Sanchar Sewa

Sanchar Sewa is tucked into the New Buty Building, which is on Mount Road Extension. We are at number 4. The building is one of those older structures that has a lot of character, though the stairs can be a bit of a climb if you are carrying boxes. Mount Road Extension is usually packed with traffic and people walking to different offices, so there is always something to look at out the window. Our space is mostly filled with communication gear and various bits of paperwork that we need to keep track of. It isn't a huge place, just a few rooms where we sit and handle the daily tasks. We have a small fan that rattles a bit in the corner, but it keeps the air moving. Most of the people who come here are regulars who have been around the area for years. We know the tea stall guy just down the street quite well. The walls are painted a light color, but they could probably use a new coat soon. We don't have a lot of decorations, just a calendar and maybe a map. It’s a practical setup for the kind of work we do here. Sometimes we stay late when there is a lot to finish, and the building gets very quiet then. You can hear the city noise fading away slowly. It is just a regular office life in a busy part of town where we work.
