Ramdaspeth is a busy area in Nagpur, and being on the 4th floor of Ushpkunj Complex means we see a lot of what’s happening on Central Bazaar Road. It’s a central spot, which is handy for getting around, but the parking can be a real headache sometimes. We’ve been here at No. 26 for some time now. The office itself is just a regular setup with desks and some old filing cabinets that have seen better days. We don’t really go in for the whole modern glass-and-chrome look. It’s more about having a place to sit and get through the paperwork. Every morning, the climb up to the fourth floor wakes you up, especially if the lift is being temperamental. We spend our days answering phones and dealing with the usual office stuff that comes with being Esms India Pvt. Ltd. It’s not a flashy job, but it keeps us busy. The lunch break is usually spent at one of the small eateries down the street. You meet all sorts of people working in the other offices in the complex. Sometimes it gets a bit noisy with the traffic outside, but you stop noticing it after the first hour. We just try to get through the list of things to do before it’s time to head home. It’s a practical way of working, and we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of the neighborhood over the years. We just keep our heads down and do the work.
