Sakal Group Of Publications

We've been over here at Jaiprakash Nagar in Nagpur for quite a while now. The office is right in RBI Colony, Khamla. It’s a busy spot. Most of us just show up early, get the papers sorted, and try to make sure everything is printed right before it goes out. There’s always a bit of noise from the machines and people running around with drafts. Sometimes the tea guy is late, which usually causes a stir. Dealing with publications means you never really have a quiet day. We handle a lot of different things under the Sakal Group Of Publications name. It's just a regular workplace where folks know each other. You can find us at number 28. If you're walking through Khamla, you've probably passed the building. It’s not a fancy glass tower or anything like that, just a solid place where the work gets done. Most of the staff have been here for years and they know the neighborhood pretty well. We don't spend much time talking about ourselves because there's always the next edition to worry about. The printers keep humming and we just keep at it. If you need to stop by, that's where we are. It is mostly about getting the news and information put together so people have something to read in the morning. That is basically our daily routine here in Nagpur. We've seen the city change a lot from this spot.
