Bhagwati Catering & Bichayat Kendra

Bhagwati Catering & Bichayat Kendra is over on Wardha Road. Our plot is number 91 in Sahakarya Nagar. We are right by the Indira Gandhi High School. It’s a landmark most people in the neighborhood use when they are trying to find us. We have been doing this for quite some time now. Besides the food part of the business, we also handle the bichayat side, which means we have all the tents and the seating people need for their functions. It makes for a lot of heavy lifting and moving stuff around in the sun. Our yard is usually full of pipes, folded chairs, and big cooking pots. Wardha Road is always busy, so there is a lot of dust and noise from the trucks going by. We don't really have a fancy philosophy or a polished way of talking about what we do. It is just hard work and being here when people need stuff for a wedding or a party. Most of our staff live nearby, so it’s a real local operation. We spend our time checking the inventory and making sure the kitchen is ready for the next job. Sometimes things get a bit chaotic when three orders come in at once, but we manage. We’ve stayed in the same spot because it works for us and people know where to find the shop near the school. It’s been a long journey on Wardha Road and we just keep the business moving.
