Aavishkar Kala Sanstha

Aavishkar Kala Sanstha is located over at Plot No 45 in Samartha Nagar East. We’ve been part of the Wardha Road area for a good while now. It’s mostly just us doing what we do, which is focusing on art and culture in our own way. The space isn't huge, but it fits what we need. People come by and talk about their projects or just to see what's happening. Sometimes it gets a bit messy with all the supplies and papers lying around. We try to keep things moving. Living and working around Samartha Nagar has its own rhythm. You get to know the neighbors and the local shops pretty well. It’s not like those big corporate places in the city center. We keep things pretty simple here. Most of the time, we are just busy planning the next thing or fixing something that broke. It takes a lot of effort to keep a sanstha going, but we manage. Wardha Road can get quite busy, but our little corner stays mostly grounded. We don’t really do fancy ads or anything like that. Word of mouth usually brings people to Plot No 45. We are just a group of people who care about what we do. It’s hard work, but it’s our work. We've spent many afternoons just sitting here figuring out how to make the next project happen with whatever materials we happen to have on hand at the time.
