Sachin Gents Parlour

I run Sachin Gents Parlour on Bhandara Road in Nagpur. The shop is quite easy to find since it is near the mall. Having a mall close by means there are always people around, but our shop is a lot more quiet and simple. I have been cutting hair here for a long time now. The address doesn't have a specific shop number, but everyone on Bhandara Road knows where we are. It is just a straightforward place for men to get their hair done. I have two chairs and a couple of old wooden benches for waiting. The mirrors have a few spots on them that won't come off, but they do the job. Nagpur is a busy city, and this road is one of the main ones, so there is always a layer of dust on everything. I wipe down the counters every morning. I don’t have any fancy assistants, just me and occasionally a helper. We handle the usual haircuts and shaves. Most days are steady. I like the sound of the scissors snip-snipping away. It is a peaceful way to earn a living. The mall nearby brings in some new faces sometimes, but mostly it is the regulars who have been coming for years. I close up when I feel like it’s time to go home and eat. There is no big secret to how we work, we just do the job and talk to the people.
