If you go to Mahadula Mazdur Square in Koradi, you will find our little place, Rijju Gift Shop. It is right there in the middle of all the noise and traffic. Nagpur is close by, but Koradi has its own vibe and its own people. The shop is small and packed with all sorts of things. We have gift wraps, some plastic toys, and little showpieces that people like for their homes. Most of the customers are workers or families living in the nearby blocks. It is not a quiet area at all, there is always something happening at the square. I usually sit on a wooden stool near the entrance to catch whatever breeze comes in. The shelves are a bit crooked because I put them up myself a long time ago. We do not have a big team, just a couple of us looking after the place and helping customers find things. Sometimes the new stock takes a while to arrive from the city. I try to keep things that kids like, especially stickers and small games. It gets messy sometimes, especially when we get new boxes delivered. I spend a lot of time just rearranging things so people can actually walk inside without tripping. It gets quite hot in the summer, but we have a small cooler. People know Rijju Gift Shop as that place near the square where you can get a birthday card. It is a steady living for us.
