Refuge Event

Refuge Event is based out here in Nagpur at 116 New Colony. It is basically Anand Ashok Budhraja’s place where we set everything up. To be honest, it is not some big corporate building with glass walls or anything like that. We are just a group of people who know how to put a party or a function together without things falling apart at the last minute. If you come by New Colony, you’ll see we spend most of our time on the phone or tracking down vendors who are running late. It gets pretty loud sometimes because there is always something to move or someone to call. We started doing this because we like the chaos of events, and staying in a residential area like this keeps us grounded. It’s a lot of work, and usually, our desks are covered in notes and old coffee cups. We don't really have a big fancy lobby. You just walk in and see us working. Nagpur is a hot place, so the fans are always on full blast while we try to figure out the logistics for the next weekend. We’ve been at this address for a while now, and everyone around here knows Anand. Advertising isn't something we really do much of because most people just hear about us from their neighbors or friends who saw us working at another event nearby. It’s just us, doing the work day in and day out, making sure the chairs arrive and the food is ready.
