Raj Barber Zone

Raj Barber Zone is tucked away at Shop No 1 in New Subedhar, Nagpur. We are quite close to the Hanuman Mandir, so it’s easy to find us if you’re heading to the temple. It’s a small shop in Ayodhya Nagar where we take care of hair and shaves for the local men. We’ve got a couple of barber chairs that have seen a lot of use over the years. The floor is tile and we try to keep the hair swept up, but on busy mornings it can be tough. We don't have any marketing people writing stuff for us. It is just me and the guys working here every day. We do the usual stuff like beard trims and simple haircuts. Sometimes someone wants a face massage, so we have the creams for that on the shelf. The area around New Subedhar is mostly families, so we see a lot of fathers bringing their sons in for school haircuts. It’s a friendly enough place where people talk about their day. We don't have air conditioning, just the ceiling fans that hum all day long. Nagpur is a hot city, so we try to keep the water cold for anyone who needs a drink. The shop isn't fancy, but we know what we’re doing with a pair of scissors. We’ve been part of this Ayodhya Nagar community for a while now and plan to stay here for much longer.
