Pari Beauty Parlous

Nagpur gets quite warm, so our little place on New Itwari Road is a bit of a relief for people walking by. Pari Beauty Parlous is located right in the Itwari area, very close to the Gandhi Putla landmark. It’s a busy spot with lots of shops around. Our shop is one of those places where you can hear the street noise even when the door is shut. We’ve got a couple of chairs and a small waiting bench that’s seen better days. Most of our work is just the regular stuff people need every month. We see a lot of people who are just passing through the market or who live in the apartments nearby. It’s not a polished studio with bright lights and uniform-wearing staff. It’s just us in our regular clothes, doing the work we know how to do. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait a bit, but that’s just Nagpur for you. We keep a stash of magazines for people to read while they wait, though most people just look at their phones now. We’ve been here long enough that we don’t need a map to find our way around these narrow streets. It’s a humble business, and we like it that way. No stress, just work and chatting with whoever walks through the door. It might be a little messy sometimes, but we try to keep things moving along.
