Numero Organic Private Limited

Down here in Nagpur, specifically at Nandanwan Main F6 in the Jai Sharda Co Op Housing Society, you’ll find our little operation. Numero Organic Private Limited is basically just a group of us who got tired of seeing how much junk goes into food these days. We wanted to do something different, so we set up shop right here in the neighborhood. It’s a typical Nagpur day most of the time—hot and a bit dusty—but we keep at it. Our office in the housing society isn’t anything you’d see in a magazine. It’s got some chairs, some samples of what we’re working on, and a lot of lists. We spend our hours talking to farmers and checking on how they are growing their crops without the nasty sprays. It’s a lot of back-and-forth, and sometimes it’s frustrating when things don’t grow as fast as they would with chemicals, but we think it’s worth the wait. We’re just regular people trying to make a living while doing something that feels right. You won't find us wearing suits or giving big presentations. We’d rather spend that time making sure the quality is what it should be. The Jai Sharda society is a friendly place, and we like being part of the community here. It feels good to be doing this kind of work right where we live. We just take it one day at a time and try to keep things as natural as possible.
