Novelty Family Restaurant

We are over at Sakkardara Square on Old Shukrawari Road. The official address is Plot No 538. It’s a good spot in Nagpur because there is always something happening outside the window. Novelty Family Restaurant is where we spend most of our waking hours. We call it a family restaurant because we get everyone from kids to grandparents coming in. We have enough tables to fit a decent group, so it’s rarely a problem if you bring the whole family along. The neighborhood here in Sakkardara is quite traditional. We try to match that with the way we run the place. We don't have a computerized ordering system or anything too technical. We just write things down and bring them out as they are ready from the kitchen. It might take a few extra minutes when we are full, but we don't like to rush the cooking process. The street can get a bit crowded with traffic, especially near the square, but it’s part of the charm of this part of Nagpur. We have been here long enough that we know most of the people who walk past our door every morning. We aren't trying to be the biggest restaurant in town, just a reliable one where you can get a hot meal. If you're near Old Shukrawari Road, come in and say hello. We usually have something good on the stove. We like keeping things just the way they have always been here.
