New Arjun Family Restaurant

If you find yourself near Bhagwaghar Square in Hansapuri, you’ll probably see our sign on Old Bhandara Road. We are New Arjun Family Restaurant, and we’ve been serving the Nagpur community from this spot for some time now. Nagpur gets really hot, as everyone knows, so we try to keep the place as comfortable as we can for anyone coming in off the street. It’s a family kind of place. You see parents bringing their kids, and sometimes big groups of friends who just want to sit and talk. We don't have a corporate office or anything like that; it’s just us here on the ground. We spend our mornings getting the spices ready and making sure the kitchen is stocked up. Hansapuri is a busy area with a lot of trade and movement. The road outside can get a bit dusty and crowded with vehicles, but once you step inside, it’s a bit different. We don't use a lot of fancy words to describe what we do. We just cook the food the way we know how. Some days are busier than others, especially on the weekends when families are out and about. We just take it one order at a time. It’s a lot of standing on your feet and making sure things are running right, but we like being part of the neighborhood here near the square.
