ND Katta Restaurant

ND Katta Restaurant is where I spend most of my time these days. We are located at number 22 in Ashi Nagar, right in the Teka Naka area of Nagpur. If you know where Khobragade lawn is, we are just a short walk from there. It is a decent neighborhood, though it gets quite dusty when the wind picks up in the afternoon. We opened this place a while back and it has been a lot of work. The kitchen is not very big, so we have to stay organized. I usually get here around eight to start prepping for the day. My sister helps with the orders sometimes, but mostly it is just me and one other guy in the back. The fan in the corner makes a bit of a rattling noise, but it keeps the air moving in this Nagpur heat. We do not have a big fancy sign out front, just the name on the glass. We serve the kind of food we grew up eating at home. It is nothing special, just honest meals for people who live around here or work nearby. Sometimes the regulars sit and chat for a long time after they finish their tea. We do not mind. It is better than having an empty room. The street outside is usually quiet except when there is an event at the lawn. Then it gets really crowded with cars and people. We just keep the stove going.
