Muskan Jents Salon

We are over on Sugar Nagar Road in Jaripatka. The shop is at Plot No. 3, which is quite close to Tathagat Chauk. If you know Nagpur, you know this area is always full of life and activity. It is a simple jents salon. We do not have any of those fancy spa treatments or expensive products. It is just a place for men to get a haircut or a clean shave. We have a few old-style barber chairs that have been with us for a long time. They are comfortable enough. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but we haven't gotten around to it yet. Most of the guys who come here are from the local neighborhood or people passing through the chauk. We hear a lot of stories about what is happening in the city. The road outside can get a bit muddy when it rains, so we try to keep the floor clean as much as possible. It is a small space, so it can get a bit cramped when there are four or five people waiting. We just have a small wooden bench for them to sit on. The tea stall nearby usually brings us tea a couple of times a day. It is a very basic, honest kind of shop. We do not use any complicated language or try to be something we are not. We just show up, open the shutters, and start our work for the day.
