You can find Moms Smile Food over in the Civil Line area. We are right on the Railway Station Main Road, so it is a very busy spot. You can hear the trains and the whistles all day long. It’s a lot of noise, but you get used to it after a week or two. Our place is simple. We spend most of our time in the back where the actual work happens. The smells of what we are making usually drift out onto the street. People walking to the station often stop for a second. We aren't a big corporation or anything. It is just a group of us who know how to handle the daily rush. The floor is always clean, even if the walls could use a new coat of paint. We focus on getting the food ready on time. There is a lot of chopping, stirring, and packing going on. Sometimes the deliveries arrive late because of the traffic near the station, and we have to scramble a bit. That’s just part of life here. We don’t have a big marketing plan. We just rely on the fact that people see us every day on their way to work. It is a practical business. We use simple ingredients and stay busy. The main road is always moving, and we are just happy to be a part of the neighborhood.
