Mica Computers

Mostly, we are just here working on machines all day. Being on the second floor of Raj Apartment means I get a good view of Nandanvan Main Road, though I usually have my head down looking at wires. It’s unit 814, and people usually find us by looking for the Nirmal Ujjawal Bank first. That bank is a big landmark around here. The shop isn't fancy. There are stacks of old parts in the corner and sometimes the fans are a bit loud. I’ve been in this spot for a while now. My hands are usually covered in some kind of dust from opening up old towers. It’s a quiet enough place to get things done, but the road noise comes up through the windows. On rainy days, the stairs can get a bit slippery, so you have to watch your step coming up to the second floor. I keep a few chairs out for people waiting, but mostly folks just drop their stuff off and come back later. There is always a pot of tea nearby and some random cables lying around that I meant to organize weeks ago. That’s just how it goes when you’re busy. We don’t have any big signs or bright lights, just the name on the door and the work on the desk. It’s a straightforward life here in this part of town.
