Mayur Gents Parlour

Our shop is tucked away at Azad Chowk in the Sadar Bazar area of Nagpur. Being near the Corporation Ground means there is always something going on nearby, whether it's kids playing or some event happening. Mayur Gents Parlour has been a part of this neighborhood for a good while. It's a simple shop, nothing like those big malls you see nowadays. We open up early in the morning, usually when the air is still a bit cool before the Nagpur heat really kicks in. The street outside gets busy with people going to work or the market. We have our regulars who come in every few weeks, and we know exactly how they like their hair. You spend a lot of time standing on your feet here, but it's okay because the conversation keeps things moving. The chairs are old but they work fine. Sometimes we just sit and watch the traffic at Azad Chowk when it’s slow. We don't use any fancy machines, just the usual clippers and razors that we keep sharp. People in Sadar Bazar are straightforward, and we like that. We just do the job and let them get on with their day. It’s a small space but it feels like home to us after all these years. We just try to keep the mirrors clean and the floor swept so the place looks decent.
