MAHALAXMI Restaurant

Our place is right at Chaparu Chowk in the Lakad Ganj area of Nagpur. If you know where Barbate Garden is, we are just a short walk from there. It's a decent spot in the 440008 pin code. We mostly see locals from the Lakad Ganj neighborhood. It’s a busy part of town but we like it here. There’s always someone coming or going near the garden. We open up early and stay busy until things wind down at night. The restaurant isn't anything big or flashy. We just have tables and chairs and we serve what we have on the menu that day. Being near Chaparu Chowk means there's always a bit of traffic outside. You can hear the scooters and the people talking all day long. We've stayed in this same spot for a long time. It’s easy for people to find us since the garden is such a well-known landmark. We don't spend much time worrying about the decor or anything like that. We just make sure the kitchen is running and the food is hot. Nagpur can get pretty warm in the summer, so we try to keep things comfortable enough inside. It’s a simple setup for simple people. Mostly it's just us doing the same routine every day. We know the neighbors and they know us. That’s how it usually goes around here in Lakad Ganj. We just keep our heads down and do the work.
