Madhuri Stationery & Gift Stores

We are located on Besa Road, right near the Bai Ram Bua Mandir, which is a well-known landmark around Manewada Square. Being so close to the temple means we see a lot of people every day, especially during festivals or on special prayer days when the crowds are big. The shop is a combination of a stationery store and a gift shop. We have stacks of notebooks, different kinds of pens, and all the things students need for school or college. Then we have the gift items, which range from small figurines to bigger wall clocks for the house. The square is always buzzing with activity, so it’s never quiet here. We have a few glass display cases at the front where we keep the nicer looking gift articles so people can see them from the street. The shop is a bit narrow, so when it gets busy, people have to squeeze past each other to look at the shelves. We spend a lot of time helping kids find exactly the right color of chart paper or a specific kind of pen they need for their homework. It’s a family-run kind of place, and we’ve gotten to know many of the families who live nearby. We don’t have fancy air conditioning, just a couple of ceiling fans that hum all day to keep the air moving. It’s a straightforward shop where you can find what you need for school or a quick present without any fuss or delay.
