M K M Spices

M K M Spices is located in Sita Nagar, split across two different plots, No- 10/269 and 28/421. We are right in the Ratan Factory area, which is always noisy with trucks and people moving around. The Radha Krishna Mandir is just nearby, and we often hear the bells during our shift. Having two plots means we are always running back and forth to check on things. One spot is mostly for the raw materials and the other is where the real work happens. It’s a bit of a maze inside with all the bags stacked up to the ceiling. We have a few guys who have been with us since we started, and we just handle the spices as they come in from the farms. It is hard work, especially when the weather is humid, because the spices can get sticky. We don't have a fancy showroom or anything like that. People just know we are the spice place near the temple. The machines are old but they still do the job of crushing and mixing everything together. We spend a lot of time just sweeping up and making sure the labels are put on straight. It isn't a glamorous business, but it’s what we know how to do. Every evening we lock up the two plots and head home through the busy Sita Nagar streets.
