We are part of the Lokmat Group Of Newspapers and we operate from S-2 in the Bhaskar Arvind Apartment. This is located in the Narendra Nagar area of Nagpur, specifically in the Bhaskar Rao Borkute Layout. Being associated with the fourth largest read daily in India sounds like a lot, but our daily reality in this office is quite grounded. The apartment is located at 14-C and it is a quiet residential street for the most part. We have plenty of desks and a lot of old newspapers archived in cupboards. The 440015 area is a good part of Nagpur to be in. We get a lot of visitors dropping off news tips or just coming in to settle some paperwork. The office feels very local, and we often know the people walking by outside. There is always a stack of the morning edition sitting on the main table for anyone to read. We don't have a big flashy entrance, just the door to the apartment with a small nameplate. The work involves a lot of writing, checking facts, and making sure the local stories get the attention they need. It is a steady environment where everyone knows their role. We just focus on the news and the community around us without making a big deal out of it. It is just how things have been done here for years.
