Laxmai Buty Parler

Our place, Laxmai Buty Parler, is right on the Main Road in Sitabuldi, Nagpur. If you know the area, you know how crowded it gets around here. Being on the Main Road means there is always something going on outside our door. I set up the parlour in Sitabuldi because it is central and easy for people to find after they finish their shopping or work. We focus on the basic things that people need regularly. I handle the daily tasks and make sure everything is tidy. It’s a small shop, but we’ve made the most of the space we have. Nagpur-440012 is a busy pin code, and we see a lot of different faces every day. Some people just pop in because they saw the sign while walking past, and others have been coming to us for years. I don’t believe in making things look more expensive than they are. It’s a plain, honest beauty parlour. Sometimes I’m running a bit behind if three people show up at once, but most people don’t mind waiting a few minutes. We just keep things moving as best as we can. Sitabuldi is the heart of Nagpur, and I like being part of the noise and the life here. It feels real. Laxmai Buty Parler is just a small part of this big street.
