Kids Mentor Global School

You’ll find us on Umrer Road in the Dighori area, specifically right across from the Tajshree Sabhagruh. Being near the Saoli Amma Dargah makes it easy to give directions to anyone who is lost. Kids Mentor Global School sounds like a big name, but we are just a local school trying to get things done. The road outside can get pretty busy with all the traffic heading towards the city, but inside it’s just the usual school day. We have kids running around and teachers trying to keep them in line. It’s not always perfectly quiet here. Sometimes there is noise from a function at the sabhagruh or just the general buzz of Dighori. Our rooms are okay, nothing special, just enough space for the desks and the kids' bags. We’ve got some posters on the walls that the kids made. Some are a bit crooked. We don’t really mind that. It’s a place for learning, not a museum. The staff usually brings lunch from home and we eat together when we have a free period. It’s a practical place. We don’t go in for fancy talk or big promises. We just teach the lessons and go home when the day is done. The kids seem happy enough most days, which is what matters at the end of the shift. The gate out front has a bit of a squeak we need to oil one of these days.
