Kangaroo Kids

You can find us at Plot No 14 in Surya Nagar, right off Kalamna Road. Wardhaman Nagar is a busy area of Nagpur, and we’re right in the middle of all that activity. The school is a place where we see a lot of toddlers and young children every day. It’s often quite noisy with all the singing and playing going on in the different rooms. We have colorful mats on the floor and lots of plastic toys scattered around in every corner. Our main job is to keep an eye on everyone and make sure nobody gets into any trouble or hurts themselves. The building is tucked away a bit from the street, so it's not right on the main noisy road, which is nice for the kids. We have a small area for outdoor play, but it’s mostly indoor activities we focus on. The staff here are mostly local women from the neighborhood who have been with us for a while. We know which kids need extra help with their lunch and who likes to take a nap in the quiet corner. There’s always a lot of washing up to do—cups, plates, and paintbrushes after art time. We don't use a lot of big words or complicated rules here. It’s just about getting through the day and making sure the children are happy and safe. Sometimes we have a little celebration for birthdays with some simple cake and music. It’s just a regular neighborhood preschool.
