Jumman Galai Wala

Jumman Galai Wala is located over near Faras Road, by the Dhoble area. It is a bit of a rough and tumble spot but it works for us. We have been doing this kind of work for a long time. It gets hot in the workshop, especially in the summer months when the air doesn't move much. We mostly just focus on the galai work and getting the items finished for whoever dropped them off. There is usually a lot of noise from the tools and the traffic outside. People drop by with all sorts of metal pieces that need fixing or coating. We don't have a fancy showroom or a big office. It is just a workspace with tools hanging on the walls and pieces of metal scattered on the benches. My hands are usually dirty by the end of the day. We take a break for lunch when we can, but if there is a big job, we just keep going. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to sit and wait for it to come back. It’s not a big company with many departments. It is just us here at the workbench. We try to be fair with people and just do the work they ask for. Faras Road can be a bit chaotic with all the carts and bikes, but we are used to it by now. We finish when the work is done and then we clean up for the next morning. It is simple but it keeps us busy.
