Working for Infomedia 18 out here in Chandrapur is a bit different than the big city offices people usually imagine. We are based right in the Ordnance Factory area at Chanda, specifically in Qtr.No. 26 B in Sector 1. It is a Type 2 quarter, so the workspace feels more like a home than a sterile office building most of the time. The surroundings are quite green because of the factory grounds, but the security is tight, which is just part of the daily routine for us. You get used to the gate checks and the quiet atmosphere of the residential blocks around here. Inside the quarter, we have our desks set up and it is where all the media work happens throughout the day. It gets incredibly hot in Chandrapur during the summer months, so we keep the fans going full blast and try to stay productive before the afternoon heat really sets in. Sometimes the electricity acts up, but that is just how it goes in this part of the country. We are not a big corporate hub; we are just a small team handling things from this specific spot. Most people who live around here work for the factory, so we are a bit of an outlier doing media work. It works for us though. We have our tea breaks on the small porch and talk about the news or what is happening in the sector. It is a simple setup without any bells or whistles.
