HOTEL SURYAKANT CURRY & BARBEQUE

Our place, Hotel Suryakant Curry & Barbeque, is located in the Aanand Palace building on Middle Ring Road. We are right in the Nandanvan Colony area of Nagpur. Being near the local store makes it easy for folks to find us when they are out doing their shopping. We started this place because we wanted to serve the kind of food people enjoy around here. It’s not a fancy restaurant with white tablecloths. We keep things pretty casual and down-to-earth. The kitchen is always busy with the smell of the barbeque going and the curries simmering on the stove. We get a lot of families from the colony coming in, especially on the weekends when nobody feels like cooking at home. The Middle Ring Road is always busy, so there’s a lot of noise and life outside our doors. We handle everything from the cooking to the cleaning ourselves. It’s hard work but we’ve got used to the rhythm of it over the years. If you’re around Nandanvan and looking for a meal, we’re just a short walk from the main store. We don't have a big menu with things you can't pronounce. It's just the stuff we know how to make well for our neighbors. Sometimes we run out of things early if it's a busy night, but that’s just how it goes when you’re small. We just try to keep the food hot and the tables clean for whoever walks in.
