Harish Mens Parlour

Harish Mens Parlour is situated in the Parvati Complex. We are right on Ring Road in the Dindayal Nagar area of Nagpur. The Ring Road is always moving with heavy trucks and cars, so it is a very active location. Our shop is one of many in the complex. It is a place where men can come to get a shave or a haircut without any fuss. We have four chairs lined up against the wall and big mirrors in front of each one. The floor is usually covered in a bit of hair because we are often too busy to sweep every five minutes. I have been working here for a long time, and I know the neighborhood pretty well. We have a small television in the corner that is usually tuned to the news or a cricket match. It gives the customers something to watch while they wait. The chairs are old but they are comfortable enough. We don't have any fancy brochures or a list of philosophies. We just know how to use the clippers and the razors. The afternoons can be slow when the sun is directly overhead, so that's when we usually take a break for lunch. By the evening, the complex gets busy again as people return from work. We stay open pretty late to make sure everyone who needs a trim can get one before we head home.
