Green Vidharbha Farmer Producer Company Limited

Our company name is Green Vidharbha Farmer Producer Company Limited and we operate out of Shegaon. You can find us at Macchindrakhed, specifically at Vaibhav Bharambe’s place. We are a small group of farmers who decided to come together to make things work better for everyone. Shegaon is a nice place to live and work, even if it gets really hot in the summer months. Our setup is very basic. We don't have a big marketing budget or a fancy office building. Most of our meetings happen sitting around a table with some tea, talking about the crops and the market prices. We spend a lot of time out in the fields seeing how things are growing. Being in the Vidharbha region, we have to deal with some tough conditions, but we are used to that. We don't use any corporate jargon or try to sound like we are bigger than we are. We are just local people who know the land. Our goal is just to help each other out and get a fair price for what we produce. It’s a lot of hard work and there are always new challenges to face, like pests or lack of rain. We just take it one day at a time.
