Our workplace is located at Plot No. 365 in Chitnis Nagar. It’s a residential neighborhood, so it’s usually pretty quiet except for the occasional street vendor or a dog barking. The office is basically a house that’s been converted into a work space. We have our desks set up in what used to be the living room and one of the back bedrooms. There’s a small yard out front where we park our bikes, and sometimes we sit out there for a few minutes if the weather isn't too hot. Inside, the walls are a plain light blue, and we’ve got a few calendars pinned up to keep track of the weeks. We don’t have a big sign out front, just a small nameplate near the gate so people know they’ve found the right plot. The kitchen area is where we keep the kettle and some biscuits for when we need a break. Most of the day is just spent on the computers or writing things down in our ledgers. We’re not a huge team, so we all know each other’s business and help out when someone gets behind. It’s a comfortable enough spot, even if the ceiling fan makes a clicking noise on the highest setting. We just come in, do what needs doing, and lock up the gate when we're finished in the evening. It is a very normal way to spend a working day.
