Drama Salon

Drama Salon is located in the Imperial Court building on Traffic Park Road. We are right in the Dharampeth area, which is always buzzing with people, especially since we are opposite the Traffic Park and right beside Yoko Sizzler. It’s a good spot to be in Nagpur. The shop is a bit more modern looking than some others, but we are still just a local salon at the end of the day. We get a lot of younger people coming in because of the location, but we have older regulars too. The name Drama was just something that sounded catchy when we started, but we don't actually have much drama here. It’s mostly just us working on hair and talking with customers. The space can get a bit tight when we have four or five people in at once, and the mirrors get steamed up when it's raining outside, but it’s a lively place to work. We don't have a big corporate handbook on how to talk to people. We just act like ourselves and try to give a haircut that looks right. Sometimes the music is a bit loud, or we run out of clean towels on a rainy day, but we figure it out. Being near the park means there’s always something to look at out the window. If you're out for a walk or getting food next door, you can just stop by. We’re usually around and ready to work. It's a nice little corner of Dharampeth for us to be in.
