We have been here at Wathoda Square for a good while now. The shop is right on the Ring Road, so there is always a lot of noise from the trucks and cars passing by. It gets dusty sometimes, but that is just how Nagpur is during the summers. We open up early and start cleaning the floor before the first customer walks in. Most people who come here live right in the neighborhood or work at the shops nearby. We have the usual chairs and mirrors that have seen many faces over the years. Some days it is very busy and you have to wait a bit, maybe sit on the bench outside and watch the traffic. We don't do anything fancy, just hair cuts and shaves for the men around here. It is a simple place where you can get your work done and maybe talk about the local news or the weather. Sometimes the tea stall guy brings over a few cups and we just sit for five minutes. We know most of our customers by name because they have been coming since they were kids. It’s funny how time goes. If you are around Wathoda Ring Road and need a quick trim, we are right here in the corner shop. No need for anything special, just walk in and we will see when the next chair is free. It’s not a big place, but it works for us and the people who live around Wathoda.
