Dhani Beauty Parlour

Dhani Beauty Parlour is a small place located at Plot No. 92 in Omnagar, Sakkardara. It is easy to find because it is right near Vidharbh Buniyadi School in Nagpur. The area is full of houses and kids playing in the street after school lets out. Inside the parlour, things are kept simple and tidy. There are curtains for privacy and a few chairs for the ladies who come in for threading or getting their hair done. The shelves are filled with plastic containers and some bottles of rose water. We spend a lot of time organizing the threads and cotton pads. The walls have a few posters but nothing too fancy. It’s a quiet environment compared to the main roads of Nagpur. Often, neighbors drop by just to book a time or to say hello. The floor is swept many times a day to keep the place looking decent. It’s a local business run by people who live nearby, so everyone knows everyone else. The lighting is a bit soft, which makes the small room feel a bit more comfortable. There is a small desk where the diary is kept to note down who is coming when. We don't use any loud music, just the sounds of the neighborhood. It’s a steady place for the women in Omnagar to visit when they need to. The door has a small bell that rings whenever someone enters. It helps us know when a customer has arrived while we are busy.
