Delhi Public School, Nagpur

Delhi Public School, Nagpur is located out on Kamptee Road. If you are driving that way, you know how busy it gets. The school sits there along the main stretch. It’s a pretty large area. Nagpur heat is no joke, so the mornings are usually the only time it's comfortable to be out on the grounds. By noon, everyone is looking for some shade. The bus drivers have their own routine getting everyone here from different parts of the city. We have a lot of space for the kids to run around when it isn't too hot. The building is easy to spot from the road. Inside, it’s just the usual school stuff. Desks, boards, and lots of noise during lunch break. We’ve been on Kamptee Road for quite some time now. Sometimes the dust from the road comes in, but we just wipe it down. There is always someone at the gate checking people in. It feels like its own little world once you step inside from the main road. We don't have many fancy things to say, we just show up and do the work. The staff knows most of the families by now. It’s a long road and we are just one of the big spots along it. Sometimes the internet is slow or the phones ring at the wrong time, but we manage. We just keep things moving and focus on the day ahead. It takes a lot of water to keep the small garden patch green, but we try.
