We are located in G-5 of the Poorva Apartments right in Laxmi Nagar in Nagpur. It is a bit different working out of an apartment building compared to a big glass office tower but we like it this way. It feels more like being part of the neighborhood. We are part of the bigger publishing group and we focus on getting the news and information out to the people around here. The office is often full of papers and notebooks and there is always a bit of a rush as we get closer to the printing deadlines. You can hear the phones ringing and people talking loudly to be heard over the noise of the street outside. Nagpur is a lively city and Laxmi Nagar is a busy area so there is always something going on just outside our door. We have a small team here and we all have to do a bit of everything to make sure the work gets done. Sometimes we are out meeting people and other times we are stuck at the desks typing up stories or checking the layout. We don't have much room for big meetings so we usually just talk across the desks. It is a practical way to work and it keeps us close to the ground. We just want to keep the community informed and stay on top of what is happening in the city every day.
