Career Avenues (I) Pvt. Ltd. is based in Nagpur, over at Plot No. 28 in the Adivasi Nirman Sahakari Sanstha. We are in the Manish Nagar area, specifically Somalwada, which has become quite a busy part of the city lately. Our office is located in a cooperative housing society, so it’s surrounded by homes and other small businesses. It’s a pretty straightforward setup we have here. We spend our days helping people figure out their career paths, which involves a lot of talking, listening, and looking at different options. Nagpur can get incredibly hot, so we spend a lot of time making sure the coolers are running and that there’s enough water for everyone. The office itself is just a regular building where we’ve set up some tables and chairs to conduct our business. We aren't big on flashy decorations or fancy office gear. We just want to provide a place where people can come and get some honest advice about their jobs. Being in Somalwada, we get a lot of local folks dropping by, but we also handle things for people further out. It’s a bit of a climb to the office sometimes, and the paperwork can get piled up if we aren't careful, but we keep at it. There’s no big corporate mission here, just a group of us trying to help people find their way in the job market while keeping our own small business running in this part of Nagpur every single day.
