People around Kalmana Road know where we are. It’s a busy spot in Nagpur, especially near Gulmohar Nagar where everything is always moving. Ankit Gents Parlour is just a simple place for men to get their hair sorted out without any fuss. We’ve got the usual setup with the big mirrors and the chairs that have seen a lot of use over the years. Nagpur gets really hot, so most of the guys coming in just want something short and manageable. We spend a lot of time sweeping up hair and keeping the fans running at full speed. It isn't a fancy lounge with coffee or anything like that. You just come in, sit down, and wait your turn. Sometimes there is a bit of a wait on the weekends when everyone realizes they need a shave at the same time. We have been here for a while now. The regulars talk about the local news or whatever is happening on the street while they get a trim.
