Amit Parlour Gents

We've been here on Umred Road for a good while now, right at Plot No 1. If you know Bada Tajabad, you probably know where the Tajbad Gate is. We are located just opposite that gate. It’s a very busy spot in Nagpur City with people always coming and going. The shop isn't anything fancy or high-end, just a regular place for men to get a haircut or a clean shave. Most of our customers are locals who live in the nearby lanes or guys passing through the area for work. Sometimes it gets really hot in Nagpur, so we try to keep the place comfortable enough with a few fans while you wait your turn. There are a few chairs and some mirrors, and we just focus on doing the work. It started out small and has pretty much stayed that way over the years. We see the same faces every few weeks, which is nice. It’s good to catch up on what’s happening in the neighborhood while I’m working with the scissors. My tools are simple, but I keep them sharp and ready for the next person. Sometimes the traffic outside is really loud, especially near the gate during festival times, but inside we just keep our heads down and focus on the hair. We don't have a big team, just a couple of us who know the job well. It's not a big corporate chain. Just a local gents parlour where you can sit down and go about your day.
